Meaningful Gigs, a company that matches businesses with talented African digital designers, was facing a significant challenge in managing client calls. The team members were often unable to join live calls with current and prospective clients due to their busy schedules and off-site tasks. This resulted in missed opportunities to gather valuable insights and information from these calls, which could have been used to improve customer experience and propel the business forward. The team was aware of the importance of these calls and the potential loss of crucial information, but struggled to find an effective solution to keep comprehensive records of these long calls.
The solution to Meaningful Gigs' challenge came in the form of Fireflies, a tool that enhances asynchronous call updates. Fireflies enabled the Meaningful Gigs team to stay updated on important call details at their own pace, even if they missed the live call. The team could use the Smart Search area in Fireflies’ Notepad to search for key topics discussed during a call and filter out questions and tasks. They could also set up Topic Trackers, a Fireflies feature for creating custom topics for efficient topic organization. This reduced errors and improved comprehension, especially for complex transcripts. Fireflies also provided accurate transcripts of meetings, which could be shared with team members via email after the meeting. This saved time and increased productivity, allowing the team to focus on other meaningful tasks. The team could revisit the transcript at their own convenience and make better use of the information garnered.
