We market our Controllers under the "SMI" brand, our enterprise-grade SSDs under the "Shannon Systems" brand and mobile communications products under the "FCI" brand.

We were founded in 1995 in San Jose, California and now operate from corporate offices in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the US, with design centers and sales offices in Taiwan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Japan and the US.
