The Challenge
Due to doubled data traffic demand, Telstra wanted a solution that can meet insatiable high-speed mobile broadband demand and secure a smooth network migration while re-farming spectrum.
The Solution
Telstra partnered with Ericsson to expand its offering, launching 4G service on its Next G network. Ericsson provided a solution includes LTE 1800 MHz Radio Network with multi-standard RBS 6000 base stations, triple access Evolved Packet Core, triple-access SGSN MME Pool and Evolved Packet Gateway on the SSR 8020 and OSS Management.
