The Challenge

The footage was automatically overwritten once the dash cam's memory card reached capacity, making it difficult to investigate incidents and refute false claims. The Solution
Aeroport overhauled their safety program with Samsara’s video-based safety solution. Samsara AI Dash Cams were installed in the vehicles assigned to drivers in Aeroport's Fleet Program. These dash cams provided reliable, on-demand video retrieval, enabling Aeroport to investigate incidents with ease and protect drivers from false claims. The extended visibility in the cloud allowed Aeroport to coach drivers using video-based coaching. Samsara’s cloud-based video retrieval system eliminated the need for handling memory cards, as video data was uploaded to the cloud within a few minutes. In addition, Samsara's In-Cab Alerts helped drivers self-correct risky behaviors and became the cornerstone of Aeroport’s proactive safety program. These alerts provided drivers with real-time feedback on the road, helping to prevent incidents and improve driver behavior.
