Gillson Solutions is a Stockton, CA-based freight brokerage that also offers additional logistics services. Most of their loads are reefer loads for produce companies, but they have dry van customers, as well. They pride themselves on offering dependable top-quality logistics services. With several decades of experience under their belt in the transportation industry, the team at Gillson Solutions has worked with different TMS systems over the years but found they always came up short.
The Challenge
Gillson Solutions, a freight brokerage, was using a truckload dispatch program that was not designed for their specific needs. The program was more suited for dispatching and routing trucks rather than searching for capacity, onboarding new carriers, and building a network of trusted carrier partners. The company's processes were largely manual, relying heavily on spreadsheets and piecemeal programs for data. This resulted in a clunky and inefficient system that was slowing down their operations and hindering their growth goals.
