About The Customer
Dillen Bouwteam is a Belgian construction company with a diverse portfolio of services, including renovation of large and small projects, interior design, and new construction of business buildings. The privately-owned company prides itself on delivering high-quality construction services, leveraging their in-house furniture atelier and expertise. A well-trained team ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget. As the company increasingly digitizes its business processes, secure and constant internet access has become crucial for its 50 employees, half of whom are mobile workers connected to the corporate network from construction sites or home offices.
The Challenge
Dillen Bouwteam, a Belgian construction company, faced a significant challenge in ensuring the security of their internet access, particularly for their remote workers. With 50% of their staff accessing the internet and the corporate network remotely, the company was exposed to advanced threats. As their business processes increasingly moved online, including technical documentation, construction plans, and supplier interactions, the need for a robust and secure internet environment became paramount. The company required a cloud-based solution that would not only provide advanced security but also align with their preference for outsourced IT processes. Their IT service provider, Aurelium, recommended Zscaler's Cloud-based Web Security Solution.
The Solution
In line with Dillen's outsourced IT strategy, Aurelium sought a cloud-based web security solution. Zscaler, a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Secure Web Gateway, emerged as the only true cloud-based solution that did not necessitate additional on-premise hardware or software. Zscaler offered Dillen a test installation for selected staff, routing all internet traffic through the Zscaler security cloud on top of the Firewall and AV-solution. Impressed by the performance of the test installation, Dillen decided to implement Zscaler’s Web Security Suite for the entire team. The solution provided advanced threat filtering capability and minimal latency, ensuring a positive user experience. Additionally, the SAML SSO (with ADFS) authentication further enhanced the end user's experience.
