About The Customer
The customer is a pharmaceutical primary packaging container manufacturer based in the USA. The company is regulated by the FDA and must adhere to strict regulations to ensure consumer safety. The manufacturer operates four manufacturing sites, which were previously managed remotely from the corporate headquarters. This process was becoming increasingly unsustainable due to the outdated production processes. The company needed a solution that would allow them to centralize the management of all process visualization applications, enabling them to make key adjustments remotely from the headquarters. This would not only save on the company's limited IT resources but also ensure the required traceability and regulatory compliance.
The Challenge
The pharmaceutical industry is heavily regulated, and manufacturers must maintain strict quality controls to ensure the safety of their products. One producer of pharmaceutical packaging was experiencing the costs of outdated production processes firsthand.
